Adam and Eve in LA

Samyoung Park's Adam and Eve series dates back to his LA days. The original Adam and Eve appear in the story of human sin and the fall in Genesis. Humans collapse helplessly due to the cunning of the serpent, and in return, Eve suffers the pain of childbirth, and Adam suffers the toil of making a living and the unbearable pain of labor.

Here, Park Sam-young's Adam and Eve series begins with original sin and culminates in freedom and healing from original sin, and the positivity and joy and sorrow of knowing how to accept and accept.

Now come to the forest

love is always

Ruled by the emotions of the forest,

Secretly seeping in

Song in the Moonlight Forest

The dream of a summer night

Mendelssohn's Moonlight on a Midsummer Night

I visited the forest and visited a monastery.

with my heart

It creates emotions in the forest.

October's love, 'Sentiment in the Forest', which expresses humanity's desire for original sin, provides a glimpse of informal freedom and liberation from original sin.

in the forest (feeling)

Adam and Eve became expeditioners

Planting and caring for sunflowers,

Whenever we love, we link our arms together,

Clouds suddenly flowing into the blue sky of the soul

Looking at the big crane,

I always look at the sun that resembles a sunflower.

Every time I love you, with deep eyes

Growing and caring for sunflowers

Every body scorched by the hot sun

The souls of the cranes are turned into works of art.

Every day with the passion of the hot sun

In the sunflower field

Draw the cranes like palace soldiers

Occasionally, there are also crazy, high-altitude sunflowers

I stare at it. -In LA-

The back view of Adam and Eve, where their expressions are not revealed, highlights the artist's intention to arouse infinite curiosity in the viewer and at the same time expand their imagination. In addition, the surrounding sunflowers show the emotional lines felt through the skin as the artist goes through the process of planting and caring for them. The wriggling and vitality of the transplanted sunflower appears much more intensely than Van Gogh's still sunflower.

“Swan song, lip work, soft orchid scent” The artist’s unique musical sensibility flows through the work. The crane, which symbolizes the elegance and noble character of the swan, and the melody that flows through the orchids roam and penetrate the work without hesitation.

It can be seen that the musical sensibility and the appearance of various instruments in the Adam and Eve series are healing of the mind and the driving force of the work.

I see a swan.

One day I became a swan

If you go to the lake

Dance a fantastic dance.

At Tchaikovsky's Lakeside

Watching the waves of love that cannot be achieved

Today too I

Picture the heart of the lake.

The soft scent of orchids in May

It sings of spring.

One day when the sky is blue

To the spring field left behind by the orchid's diary

The women in the orchid field

Today too, for the cradle of orchids

When you listen to Sarah's music,

Juliet and Washington at the Academy Awards ceremony

I remember the screen where we were kissing.

black and white kiss

In white freedom and black half freedom

I have black hair

Polished like the steps of a temple

Following the melody, the white man's hair fell down

With an endless desire for inspiration

Goldfish flies to the wings of melody

Their freedom was a flowing stream

Like the Atlantic Ocean is rolling

The work of divine white and black lips

Today I sketch on the lawn of the LA Museum.
